Jonathan Rim
Jonathan Rim is the President and Founder of Aequitas Tutoring. He started this initiative because he wanted to help people and make a difference in the world. He strongly believes in equality and everyone having an equal chance in life, which is why he strongly believes in everything this program stands for.
Anthony Chen
Anthony Chen is a head at Aequitas Tutoring while being a highly motivated researcher with a strong focus on chemical engineering, bioengineering, and interdisciplinary scientific exploration. He has actively pursued advanced research projects, including work on innovative cancer detection and gene-editing platforms. Beyond his academic and research endeavors, Anthony has volunteered at local libraries and other community initiatives, as well as the lead student representative on behalf of the APL.
Ethan Meretsky
Ethan Meretsky is one of the heads of Aequitas Tutoring and brings a deep commitment to impactful, student-centred learning. He is an experienced tutor in Geography, History, English, Music, and Math. Furthermore, he is taking rigorous courses throughout his High School career, including APs and Extended French, allowing him to understand and empathize with the challenges students face in their courses. On the site, he leads volunteer communication and mentors tutors to deliver lessons that are rigorous, accessible, and engaging. His goal is simple: to help every learner and tutor become more confident, curious, and capable than when they started.
